Reusable Grocery Sacks

Invest in a reusable grocery sack to bring with you each time you go to the store.  In America, plastic bag manufacturing consumes 12 million barrels of oil each year.  That’s 100 billion bags used by Americans each year to transport the milk and eggs from the checkout counter to the fridge—98% of which get thrown out.  Plus, since they’re made out of plastic, they don’t biodegrade.  The plastic bags we throw away each day will likely be around for centuries, possibly millennia.  Help reduce the demand for foreign oil—and make your own stylish eco-statement each time you shop—by bringing a reusable bag.

There are chic, functional bags for you to bring to the store each time you shop.
Or make your own bag!
